Daum is the Maison of light and colours, where the know-how is unique, and creativity sees no limit.
Born from earth, sand and minerals, the Daum crystal fusions in contact with fire, and transforms into spectacular objects for our interiors, art pieces and jewellery. Daum continues to narrate its story by developing sculptural pieces revealing the beauty of women, of flora and fauna. From the Ecole de Nancy, to the Art Decoratif, the Art Nouveau and the Art Deco movement, the Maison reinvents itself over time. More than 350 encounters have animated the creations of the manufacturer, with art icons such as Majorelle, Dali, Arman, César, Villeglé, Etienne or Texier, and also major signatures in the universe of design such as Tallon, McConnico, Massaud and Ghion. Daum has not missed any of the magic rendez-vous between artistic creations and modern know-how, this ever-renewing alliance of art and craftsmanship. Daum has always renewed itself through innovation and creation, from glass to crystal, to crystal paste. From a family story to a universal heritage, Daum transforms itself, while perpetuating the excellence of its know-how.
Following the Mer de Corail collection in January 2021, Daum continues to elevate the marine universe by representing ordinary underwater scenes as extraordinary objects with this new Maya collection. The crystal workshop invites us to discover the natural wonders of the Riviera Maya, located in the Northeast of Mexico. The name Maya pays tribute to the eponymous civilization that left its mark on this region. The collection draws inspiration from the natural splendors of this world, crystallizing them into an extraordinary ballet of marine animals in a fascinating dance with the waves.
Daum has imagined an impressive collection of several paradisiacal underwater scenes, illustrating emblematic animals of this submerged fauna such as stingrays, dolphins, platax fish or seahorse, immortalized in the present moment as if suspended in time.
