The Messara saga began in 1933, almost a century ago, when the managing director’s Mr. Laurent  grandfather laid the first brick of what is now a renowned brand. Originally a carpet trading company, it was founded in Alexandria, Egypt, which served as the Dubai of its time, where the East met the West. Laurent's father continued the legacy in 1950, expanding to Kuwait and Jeddah, and by the early sixties, they had ventured into the Trucial States. In 1989, Laurent's father established Sharjah as the new and promising epicentre of their business.

Today, Messara Trading is a key supplier to most importers in the Gulf, with over 2,500 B2B clients. We represent major factories producing carpets, vinyl, parquet, wallpaper, and furniture from France, Germany, and other European countries, as well as the USA, India, Turkey, China, Indonesia, and the GCC. Our direct imports enable us to offer unbeatable prices to our customers while prioritizing sustainability and health.

With 2 retail showrooms in Dubai & Sharjah, 10 warehouses, Messara headquarter Sharjah and Magic Carpet our branch in Lebanon, the Messara Saga is founded.

Our floorings are antibacterial, fire-retardant, and CRI LEED certified. The VOC emissions of all our vinyl are ten times lower than the EU norm and are phthalate-free. Additionally, AW Sedna carpets help preserve the environment by using recycled nylon.
